Hey guys, in this video I'm going to show you exactly how to manage all of your files inside MerwinSaaS using the file manager. Instead of uploading the same image or document over and over again, the file manager allows you to upload, organize, and reuse all your images, videos, audio, and documents from one central library. Let's dive in.
First, let's access the file manager. Hover over the assets tab in the main menu and click on files. This is your master library where every file you've ever uploaded to your account is stored.
Next, let's look at how to upload a file. Click the upload files button in the top right corner. A popup will appear. From here, you can easily drag and drop files directly into the window or click to browse your computer and select them manually. You can upload a huge variety of file types here, including JPG, PNG, MP4 videos, MP3 audio files, and PDF. Once the upload finishes, the file will instantly appear in your library.
Now, what happens when your library gets full. To make finding things easier, you have some great search and filtering tools at the top of the page. Search bar. You can simply type in the exact name of the file you are looking for. Source filter. You can filter files based on where they are used. For example, only showing files used in your funnels, your emails, or your communities. Type filter. You can choose to only display specific formats like just showing videos or just showing documents. Once you set your filters, just click the search button to update your results.
Finally, let's look at how to manage a specific file. If you click on any file in your list, a preview panel will slide out on the right side showing you its details. If you click the three dots next to a file, you get a menu where you can edit the file's name, download it back to your computer, or delete it from your account entirely. If you accidentally delete a file from this manager that is currently being used live on a page or in a funnel, don't panic. The system will not actually remove it from your live content, so your layouts won't break.
And that's it. You now know how to upload, organize, and manage your digital assets across your entire MerwinSaaS.
